Earthquake relief for children devastated by the May 2008 earthquake

The magnitude 8.1 earthquake on May 12, 2008 killed more than 69,000 people and left more than 4.8 million people homeless in southwestern China.  More than one year after the disaster, many affected families were still living in tents and were struggling to get on with life without the basic necessities.

In November 2008, members of Thin & High traveled to a remote village in Gansu and distributed sleeping bags as well as other supplies to the young earthquake victims in an elementary school.
